OUR AWARDS etc.

It’s very easy to shout about yourself from the rooftops, but it's not our kind of thing. Fortunately, there are plenty of people who are happy to do it for us.... so a big thanks to all our supporters. To see what they say, just click on the book covers to read the full review.

BREAKING NEWS - Well blow us down! Following on from sister pub - The Alford Arms' win in 2014, didn't we just go and scoop the national Free From Eating Out Award 2015 in November.

“Oh yes please! There is a world of difference between catering for an allergy with something like a salad, or roast with no gravy, and coming up with a delicious sounding dish that meets multiple needs without compromise on flavour. The Royal Oak hits the nail on the head."

Also, back in July we were delighted to be awarded the TripAdvisor Hall of Fame Certificate for five years of consistently excellent ratings from you - our lovely customers! THANK YOU.

Back in October 2014, it was fantastic to be recognised by THE TIMES in their article on the 25 Best Places for Sunday Lunch. We were in some stunning company and it inspired us take our Sunday Lunches all day, now running from 12 noon until 9 pm.

We were also proud once again to be named Buckinghamshire Dining Pub of the Year in last year's GOOD PUB GUIDE 2015 – the fith time in a row we’ve been awarded that honour.
